Idje van den Boom and I won a design pitch for a landmark representing Eindhoven Brainport Avenue. Our concept of an interactive (40 meters high) light house will be realized next to the A2 highway by the end of next year.More 'bout that here

Together with Idje van den Boom and Rocco Verdult, Daan Spangenberg won 1st prize in the design contest for 'Maand van de filosofie' (month of philosophy) which will be held in April. The logo, poster and flyer design will be used on all promotional material nation wide this month. First will be printed 13th of March. month of philosophy website

Mansveld asked me if they could show RE:ACT at their PR-event. By the end of this day RE:ACT will be up and running. It is nice to do something in return of their cooperation during my exam and during the Graduation Galleries.

Rocco Verdult asked me to help him do the art-direction for his graduation book project about temporary meeting places. In cooperation with Wouter Lancee (design) and Mike Roelofs (photography) we made a 76 pages book in 24 hours. Rocco graduated and will participate Dutch Design Week 2009 in name of the Design Academy Eindhoven. Book result will follow.

The fist two days of the graduation galleries has been a succes. Both Re:Act and my Daansels project get good attention and people like 'm and let's be real, that's where you do it for. Two days down, eight to go.
